Based in the village of Great Tey, on the outskirts of Colchester, Classic Pot Emporium have been suppliers of traditional large terracotta containers, as large as 1.4 meter in diameter and a meter high, we aim to project ourselves towards:

Having recently moved to our new premises, in Great Tey, we now have more capacity to store products, and increase the ranges that we already carry.
From these premises we can give additional services and packaging. We are also open for retail enquiries and sales. Please note we are closed on Sundays.
The vast majority of the terracotta is highly frost resistant and will mature with age. We also now carry an extensive range of Polyethylene containers, the largest being 1.6 meter in diameter, all being manufactured with the “Imprunenta” weathered finish. These items are light weight, robust, weatherproof and versatile, being suitable for use indoors or out.
The Poly-resin pots being manufactured in the weathered finish are so good, it’s difficult to tell the difference between resin and terracotta. Please contact us to find out more.

For the commercial grower and nursery sector, we offer a bulk delivery service, all goods being palletised, for easy delivery. Our standard range of flowerpots and styled pots are used to supply the multi-national retail outlets, pots being incorporated into growing kits or planted arrangements for the impulse buy.
The Wholesale Florist Sundries market, carry an extensive range of smaller interesting terracotta pots, from the smallest at 2.5cm diameter that are used by the florists in creating exciting floral arrangements.
Our pots are ideal for painting, to give an interesting variation to the standard pot.
Our Doric Column, the tallest at 210cm high, again produced in the lightweight Polyethylene are used in the interior display market and can be easily adapted to be incorporated into a floral canopy, ideal as a photographic background or surround.
With so many varied shapes and sizes to choose from, we must have a container to suite any and every situation, from miniature cacti to mature tree specimens many meters in height.
